To find f(2), draw a vertical line at x=2 and look for the intersection between that vertical line and the graph of the function:

As we can see, the vertical line intercepts the graph at y=1. Then:


f(2)=1

To find a value of x for which f(x)=-3, draw a horizontal line at y=-3 and look for the intersection between that vertical line and the graph of the function:

As we can see, the horizontal line intercepts the graph at x=-2. Then:


f(-2)=-3

Therefore, the answers are:

f(2) = 1

-2 is the value of x for which f(x)=-3
