According to Newton's gravitational law, any particle of matter in the universe attracts any other with a force of gravity which varies directly as the product of the masses and inversely as the square of the distance between them.

Since the two teenagers have masses, they have gravitational attraction effect. Since the teenagers have equal mass, the gravitational force would be the same and it would cancel out. Therefore,

They will remain in place
