During the ages of 12 and 18 it is common to experiment with drugs and alcohol, but most teens do not realize what experimenting with drugs and alcohol can lead to in the future. Sadly, prescription drug misuse and abuse among young people is not an insignificant problem. According to National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) data on youth and young adults, more than 5,700 youth in 2014 reported using prescription pain relievers without a doctor’s guidance for the first time.
