-2 (x+6) + 3 = -110 + 4 (x+4)

First, apply the distributive property to solve the parentheses:

-2(x) -2 (6) + 3 = -110 + 4(x) + 4 (4)

-2x -12 +3 = -110 + 4x + 16

Combine like terms:

-2x -9 = 4x -94

Move the x terms to the left side of the equation:

-2x-4x = -94+9

-6x = -85

Divide both sides by -6

-6x/-6= -85/-6

x = 85/6
