To find the equation of the line, we would use two points (-3,0) and (3,2)

We use the equation of a line in 2 point form;

(y-y_1)/(x-x_1)=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

We input the points to obtain;

\begin{gathered} (y-0)/(x+3)=(2-0)/(3+3) \\ (y)/(x+3)=(2)/(6) \\ \text{cross multiply} \\ y=(2)/(6)(x+3) \\ y=(2)/(6)x+1 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the equation is standard form is;

y=(2)/(6)x+1
