f(x)=\sqrt[]{x-5}-1

We can complete the table if we make y = f(x) and evaluate each value of x on the function like this:


\begin{gathered} y=f(5)=\sqrt[]{5-5}-1=\sqrt[]{0}-1=-1 \\ y=-1 \end{gathered}

then, for the rest of the values we have:
