The expression is 7³ * 7⁻⁵

To solve this you have to apply the law of exponents

a^b\cdot a^c=a^((b+c))

So for the expression it is

7^3\cdot7^((-5))=7^((3-5))=7^(-2)

The negative exponent "-2" means that the value is inverted following the law:

*^(-1)=(1)/(x)
7^(-2)=\text{ }(1)/(7^2)

Answer 7⁻²= 1/7²
