Finally, using the point-slope formula, you have


\begin{gathered} y-y_1=m(x-x_1) \\ y-(-2)_{}=1(x-(-3)) \\ y+2=1(x+3) \\ y+2=x+3 \\ \text{ Subtract 2 from both sides of the equation} \\ y+2-2=x+3-2 \\ y=x+1 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the equation of the line in its slope-intercept form is
