We need to graph the equation

y-7=2(x-3)

Let us put it in the form of y = mx + b

\begin{gathered} y-7=2(x)-2(3) \\ y-7=2x-6 \end{gathered}

Add 7 to both sides

\begin{gathered} y-7+7=2x-6+7 \\ y=2x+1 \end{gathered}

Now let us choose three values of x and find its corresponding values of y and use them to draw the graph

x = 0

\begin{gathered} y=2(0)+1 \\ y=0+1 \\ y=1 \end{gathered}

The first point is (0, 1)

x = -1

\begin{gathered} y=2(-1)+1 \\ y=-2+1 \\ y=-1 \end{gathered}

The second point is (-1, -1)

x = 1

\begin{gathered} y=2(1)+1 \\ y=2+1 \\ y=3 \end{gathered}

The third point is (1, 3)

Now we can draw the line which is the graph of the equation
