Given equation:

4x+y=8

In order to find equavalent equation of the given one , we have to divide or multiply any number to both sides of the equation

In this case , I'm multiplying the equaiton with 2

So, mutiplying each term with 2

\begin{gathered} (4x*2)+(y*2)=8*2 \\ 8x+2y=16 \end{gathered}

Hence, one equivalent equation of the given equation is

8x+2y=16
