The slope of the line that passes through the points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) is computed as follows:

m=\frac{y_2-y_1_{}}{x_2-x_1}

Given that the line passes through the points (-1, 2) and (3, 3) then its slope is:

m=(3-2)/(3-(-1))=(1)/(4)
