As given by the question

There are given that the inequality:

5x-3<2x+6

Now,

Add 3 on both sides of the inequality

So,

\begin{gathered} 5x-3<2x+6 \\ 5x-3+3<2x+6+3 \\ 5x-<2x+9 \end{gathered}

Then,

Subtract 2x from both sides of the above inequality.

\begin{gathered} 5x<2x+9 \\ 5x-2x<2x+9-2x \\ 3x<9 \end{gathered}

Then,

Divide both sides by 3

So,

\begin{gathered} 3x<9 \\ (3x)/(3)<(9)/(3) \\ x<3 \end{gathered}

Hence, the value of the given inequality is, x < 3.
