Given:

Height of trapezoid = 7m

Base of trapezoid = 4m

Base of trapezoid = 6m

Find-: Area of a trapezoid.

Sol:

Area of a trapezoid is:

A=((a+b))/(2)h

Where,

\begin{gathered} \text{ Height \lparen h\rparen = 7m} \\ \\ \text{Base\lparen a\rparen = 4m} \\ \\ \text{Base\lparen b\rparen = 6m} \end{gathered}

So, the area is:

\begin{gathered} A=((a+b))/(2)* h \\ \\ A=((4+6))/(2)*7 \\ \\ A=(10)/(2)*7 \\ \\ A=5*7 \\ \\ A=35\text{ m}^2 \end{gathered}

So the area is 35
