समांतर श्रेणी का प्रथम पद a = 2


t_(13)= 26

माना समांतर श्रेणी का प्रथम पद a और सामन्य अन्तर d है.

इसलिए..


S_6 = 42....(given)


\therefore (6)/(2)\{2a + (6-1)d\}= 42


\therefore 3\{2a + 5d\}= 42


\therefore \{2a + 5d\}= (42)/(3)


\therefore 2a + 5d=14...... (1)


t_(10) : t_(30)= 1 : 3.....(given)


\therefore (t_(10))/(t_(30)) = (1)/(3)


\therefore (a +9d)/(a+29d) = (1)/(3)


3(a + 9d) = a + 29d


3a + 27d = a + 29d


3a - a = 29d - 27d


2a= 2d


a= d...... (2)

समीकरण (1) और (2) से:


\therefore 2a + 5a=14


\therefore 7a=14


\therefore a=(14)/(7)


\therefore a=2

समांतर श्रेणी का प्रथम पद a = 2

a = d = 2... (समीकरण 2 से)


t_(13)= 2 + (13-1)2
