SOLUTION

We want to find the simplest form of


16^{(3)/(4)}

This becomes


\begin{gathered} 16^{(3)/(4)} \\ =(\sqrt[4]{16})^3 \\ =2^3=2*2*2 \\ =8 \end{gathered}

Hence the answer is 8.

Note that the denominator of the exponent becomes root and the numerator becomes power
