Please help:The graph shows the function f (x).What is the function's average rate of change from x = 6 to x = 10?Enter your answer in the box. __A parabola graphed on a coordinate plane. The horizontal x-axis ranges from 0 to 20 in increments of 1. The y-axis ranges from 0 to 20 in increments of 1. The vertex is located at begin ordered pair 6 comma 1 end ordered pair. The parabola opens upward. It passes through begin ordered pair 0 comma 19 end ordered pair and begin ordered pair 12 comma 19 end ordered pair and exits the first quadrant.

we have that

The average rate of change is equal to

(f(b)-f(a))/(b-a)

where

a=6

b=10

f(a)=f(6)=1 ----> look at the graph

f(b)=f(10)=9 --> look at the graph

substitute given values

(9-1)/(10-6)=(8)/(4)=2

The answer is 2
