In order to know how many feet of edging will she need, we need to calculate the perimeter of the circular garden

we can calculate the perimeter using the next formula


P=\pi d

where d=10 ft and pi=3.14

we substitute in the formula


P=3.14\cdot(10)=31.4ft

she will need 31.4 ft of edging
