System

\begin{gathered} -6x-3y=-6\text{ (1)} \\ 2x+3y=-6\text{ (2)} \end{gathered}

Let's sum equations 1 and 2

\begin{gathered} (1)+(2) \\ -6x-3y+2x+3y=-6-6 \\ -6x+2x-3y+3y=-12 \\ -4x=-12 \\ x=(-12)/(-4) \\ x=3 \end{gathered}

Now let's determine the value for y using (2)

\begin{gathered} 2x+3y=-6 \\ 3y=-6-2x \\ y=(-6-2x)/(3) \\ y=(-6-2\cdot(3))/(3) \\ y=(-6-6)/(3) \\ y=-(12)/(3) \\ y=-4 \end{gathered}

The answer would be x = 3, y = -4
