The expression 6x² gives the surface area of a cube, where x is the length of one side of the cube. Find the surface area of a cube with a side length of 2 meters.

we have

SA=6x^2

so

For x=2 m

substitute

SA=6(2^2)

SA=6(4)

SA=24 m2

surface area is 24 square meters
