Step 1: write out the values of the coordinates of polygon A

(-6, 1)

(-7,3)

(-7,8)

(-4,5)

(-3,8)

(-5,6)

Step 2: write out the corresponding values of the coordinates of polygon B in relation to Polygon A.

Let the transformation mapping be T. Then, we have

T(-6, 1) = (1,6)

T(-7,3) = (3,7)

T(-7,8) = (8,7)

T(-4,5)= (5,4)

T(-3,8) =(8,3)

T(-5,6)=(6,5)

From these steps, we can see that T must be defined as shown below


T\colon(x,y)\to(y,-x)

Hence, the transformation T is a counter-clockwise rotation of 270°
