You have here polynomials addition problems.

The first step is getting out the polynomials of the parenthesis, since this is an addition problem, you do not have to change any sign, so:

1.

\left(6k^3+4k^4-k-k^2\right)+\left(8k^2+4k+6k^3\right)
=6k^3+4k^4-k-k^2+8k^2+4k+6k^3

Now add the terms with the same variable and potency:

First with k^2

=6k^3+4k^4-k+7k^2+4k+6k^3

now with k^3

=4k^4+12k^3+7k^2-k+4k

now with k

4k^4+12k^3+7k^2+3k

You don't have any other similar term, so this is the answer, now do the same with the other two problems:

2.

(5+6x^4+4x^2+4x)+(2x^2+6x+2)
5+6x^4+4x^2+4x+2x^2+6x+2

In this case, I will aggroup the similar terms:

=6x^4+4x^2+2x^2+4x+6x+5+2

Now solve the terms aggrouped:

First x^2

=6x^4+6x^2+4x+6x+5+2

now x

=6x^4+6x^2+10x+5+2

finally the constants:

the answer is:

=6x^4+6x^2+10x+7

3.

(4b^2+5b^3+b^4)+(1+6b^3+4b^4)

Solve like the previous exercises:

=4b^2+5b^3+b^4+1+6b^3+4b^4

Aggroup similar terms:

=b^4+4b^4+5b^3+6b^3+4b^2+1

Simplify similar terms:

First b^4:

=5b^4+5b^3+6b^3+4b^2+1

Now and finally b^3, so your answer is:

=5b^4+11b^3+4b^2+1
