Since the graph is a straight line the family is a linear equation.

The x intercept is the point in which the line crosses the x-axis which in this case is -2.

The y intercept is the point in which the line crosses the y-axis which in this case is 2.

the domain and range for a linear equation is the same and is


(-\infty,\infty)

finally the equation that fits the graph is the line y=x moved 2 units up, since the slope is 1.


y=x+2
