Given:

The storage cabinet for books measures,

Length = 8 ft, width = 7ft and height = 8ft

The volume is calculated as,

\begin{gathered} V_1=lwh \\ =(8)\mleft(7\mright)(8) \\ =448 \end{gathered}

Similarly find the volume of the box with length 4 ft , width 2 ft and heigth 2 ft.

\begin{gathered} V_2_{}=lwh \\ =4(2)(2) \\ =16 \end{gathered}

The number of boxes the storage cabinet will contain is given as,

n=(V_1)/(V_2)=(448)/(16)=28

Answer: the number of boxes will be 28.
