Polynomials can be classified by the number of terms they have.

A function with only one term, for example "3x⁵" is a monomial.

If you add/subtract two monomials you determine a "binomial"

3x^5+2x^4

If there are three terms (or monomials) is a "trinomial"

3x^5+2x^4-4x^3

The given polynomial is

2x^3

Since it has only one term, it can be classified as a "Monomial"
