Senior citizen = c

Student = s

Equations

9c + 12s = 297

2c + 13s = 221

Solve by elimination

2(9c + 12s = 297)

-9 (2c + 13s = 221)

18c + 24s = 594

-18c - 117s = -1989

0 - 93s = -1395

s = -1395/-93

s = 15

9c + 12(15) = 297

9c + 180 = 297

9c = 297 - 180

9c = 117

c = 117/9

c = 13

The price of a Senior Citizen ticket is $13 and the price of a Student ticket is $15
