Write the explicit function for the following sequence. 2. 10. 50, 250, ...

1) The explicit function allows us to calculate any term of that sequence.

(2,10, 50, 250)

As we can see this is a Geometric Sequence, whose ratio is 5

Therefore we can write:


\begin{gathered} a_n=a_(1\cdot)q^(n-1) \\ a_3=2\cdot5^2\text{ =50} \\ a_4=2\cdot5^3=250 \end{gathered}

2) So the answer is:


a_n=a_(1\cdot)q^(n-1)
