The equation of the line is expressed as

- y/2 = 6x + 10

The equation of a line in the slope intercept form is expressed as

y = mx + c

Where

m represents slope

c represents y intercept

From the given equation,we would multiply both sides by 2. it becomes

-2y/2 = 6x * 2 + 10 * 2

- y = 12x + 20

Multiplying both sides by - 1, it becomes

- y * - 1 = 12x * - 1 + 20 * - 1

y = - 12x - 20

Comparing with the slope intercept form,

slope = - 12

If two lines are parallel, it means that they have equal slope. Therefore, the value of m for which the lines will be parallel is

A: -12
