What are the differences between Diffusion and Osmosis?

Diffusion is the movement of something, such as ions, molecules, or atoms, from a higher concentration to a lower one.

On the other hand, osmosis refers to what happens when two solutions are separated by a semipermeable membrane, where the water will move through the membrane until both solutions reach the same concentration of solutes.
