We have to combine the like terms in this expression.

If we look at the 3 terms, all of them are multiplying the same factor xy, so we can write:


\begin{gathered} -3\cdot xy-3\cdot xy-2\cdot xy \\ (-3-3-2)\cdot xy \\ -8xy \end{gathered}

Then, the equivalent expression after combining the like terms is -8xy.
