The function:

f(x)=x^2

has as its domain all the real numbers and range all the positve numbers.

The function:

g(x)=(x-5)^2

has the same domain and range.

If we plot them we notice that they only intersect in one point:

give an example of two different equations that have the sane domain and range, but-example-1
