We have the next system of inequalities


y<-3x-4
y<2x-1

For the first inequality, we will draw the line y=-3x-4 this line must be dotted and the area below this line is the area of solution of this inequality because we have the sign less than

we will calculate some points of the line

x y

-2 -3(-2)-4=2

0 -3(0)-4=-4

1 -3(1)-4=-7

For the second inequality, we will the line y=2x-1 this line must be dotted and the area below this line is the solution of this inequality because we have the sign less than

we will calculate some points

x y

-2 2(-2)-1=-5

0 2(0)-1=-1

2 2(2)-1=3

then we will graph

the area in blue is the first inequality and the area in red is the second inequality, the area in purple is the area of solution of the system of inequalities.

in the case of the graph given the green area is the solution

Two solutions of this system are (-1,-4) and (0,-5) (inside the solution area)

Two, not solutions are (-4,-1), (2,-1) (outside the solution area)
