In order to calculate this dilution solution, we will be using the formula that perfectly shows the relationship between the initial concentration and volume, and the final concentration and volume of a given solution, the formula will be:

M1V1 = M2V2

We have:

M1 = 2.5 M

V1 = 180 mL

M2 = 0.30 M

V2 = ?

Now we add these values into the formula:

2.5 * 180 = 0.30 * V2

450 = 0.30V2

V2 = 1500 mL of Volume
