we will use the formula;

y=mx + b

where m is the slope and b is the intercept

From the question;

slope (m) = 2/3 b=1

substitute into the formula;


y=(2)/(3)\text{x + 1}

This can also be written as;

3y = 2x + 3

3y - 2x = 3
