We know all 4 sides of the square is equal.

Let one side length be x, so the perimeter is basically 4 times of that. THus, we can write:

4x = -8.8s - 20

If we divide by 4 all over, we get x, the side length. Let's do this:


(-8.8s-20)/(4)=-(8.8s)/(4)-(20)/(4)=-2.2s-5

Side length is:

-2.2s - 5
