We have a substraction of two polynomials. We can rearrange by gruping the like terms:

\begin{gathered} (3x^2-2x+5)-\mleft(2x^2-5x+1\mright) \\ 3x^2-2x+5-2x^2+5x-1 \\ 3x^2-2x^2-2x+5x+5-1 \\ x^2+3x+4 \end{gathered}

Answer: x^2+3x+4
