Gay-Lussac’s law is a relationship between P and T.

It states that the pressure of a given amount of gas is directly proportional to its temperature on the kelvin scale when the volume is held constant.

It is assumed that the volume remains constant.

Mathematically:

P ∝ T or P = constant × T or P = k × T; k = constant

∝ means directly proportional

----------

If the temperature increases, according to this formula: P = constant × T, the pressure will increase too.

Answer: The pressure would increase
