To compare f(-1) and g(-1), we need to calculate them

So, to calculate f(-1) we need to use the table, we can see that when x = -1, f(x) = 8

Now, to calculate g(-1) we have to replace -1 where the equation g(x) has an x

\begin{gathered} g(x)=|4x-6|+2 \\ g(-1)=|4(-1)-6|+2=10+2=12 \end{gathered}

Finally, we can see that g(-1)=12 > f(-1)=8
