An additional theorem could now be stated: If two legs of one right triangle are equal, respectively, to two legs of another right triangle, then the two right triangles are congruent.Which of the three major theorems (ASA, SAS, or SSS) would this be an extension of? Explain your choice.

The sentence:

"... two legs of one right triangle ..."

Tells us that we're making a statement based on two sides and an angle.

Therefore, this new theorem is a corollary* of the SAS (Side, Angle, Side) theorem.

(Corollary: A proposition or theorem that comes from one that has already been proven)
