SOLUTION

The divison is:

(x^4-x^2)/(x-1)

The quotient is:

\begin{gathered} (x^2(x^2-1))/(x-1) \\ =(x^2(x-1)(x+1))/(x-1) \\ =x^2(x+1) \end{gathered}

Notice that there is no remainder

Hence the answer is:

0
