Given the following question:


\text{ Area to its left = 11.9\%}
11.9/100=0.1190

11.9 as a decimal is 0.1190

To find the z score we have to use a standard normal table, where 0.1190 is mentioned with the row of -1.1 and in the column -0.08


\begin{gathered} -1.1+-0.08=-1.18 \\ z=-1.18 \end{gathered}
