Answer: The pairs are (4, 10), (6, 15), (8, 20), (10, 25), and (12, 30)

The equation given is

? * x = ?

Any pairs of numbers that will give 2/5 must be a multiple of 2 and 5 respectively

I.e, Multiple of 2 * x = multiple of 5

The multiple of 2 are: 4, 6, 8 , 10, and 12

The multiple of 5 are: 10, 15 , 20, 25, 30

For the pair 4 and 10

Form the equation, -- * x = ----

10 * x = 4

10x = 4

Divide both sides by 10

10x/10 = 4/10

x = 4/10

x = 2/5

For the pair 6 and 15

15 * x= 6

15x = 6

Divide both sides by 15

15x/15 = 6/15

x = 6/15

x = 2/5

For the pair 8 and 20

20 * x = 8

20x = 8

Divide both sides by 20

20x/20 = 8/20

x = 8/20

x = 2/5

For the pair 10 and 25

25 * x = 10

25x = 10

Divide both sides by 25

25x / 25 = 10/25

x = 10/25

x = 2/5

For the pair 12 and 30

30 * x = 12

30x = 12

Divide both sides by 30

30x/30 = 12/30

x = 12/30

x = 2/5

Therefore, the pairs are (4, 10), (6, 15), (8, 20), (10, 25), and (12, 30)

Firstly, you will need to list the five pairs and after you will need to insert the values where it says -- x = ----- , which I have helped you with on the answer section.
