We can actually use the lengths of the lines to determine the side that gets a particular length

From the Triangle

AB is the shortest so we can confidently pick the smallest value value 13inches for AB

BC is next in length so it is 17inches

AC is the longest so it is 24inches

we could also use the angles opposite to the sides to solve this problem
