g(x) = 35 + 8x

t(x) = 13x + 5

g(x) = t(x)

35 + 8x = 13x + 5 (Replacing)

35 - 5 + 8x = 13x (Subtracting 5 from both sides of the equation)

35 - 5= 13x - 8x (Subtracting 8x from both sides of the equation)

30= 5x (Subtracting)

30/5 = x (Dividing by 5 on both sides of the equation)

6= x

The answer is x= 6
