Luteinizing hormone (LH) is an hormone involved in processes such as ovulation, testosterone and implantation of the egg in the uterus. It is produced by gonadotrophin cells in the anterior pituitary gland (also known as adenohypophysis), and it is co-secreted along with follicle-stimulating hormone by the same cells.
