Given :

An isosceles triangle has two angles that measure 37° each.

Let the measure of the third angle = x

The sum of the angles of the triangle = 180

so, the first equation of the third angle will be


x+37+37=180

The second equation that can be used to find the third angle is :


180-x=2\cdot37

The solution for the equation will be the same


x=106
