The slope =

(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)=(5-4)/(2-1)=(1)/(1)=1

The equation of the line is;

\begin{gathered} y-y_1=\text{slope(x}-x_1) \\ \\ y-4=1(x-1) \\ y-4=x-1 \\ -x+y=4-1 \\ -x+y=3 \end{gathered}
