We have that the discount on the original price of 37.50 is 10%, then:


\begin{gathered} 10\text{ \% =0.1 \%} \\ \Rightarrow37.50\cdot(0.1)=3.75 \end{gathered}

we have that the 10% of 37.5 is 3.75. Now we substract this quantity to the original price to find the selling price:


37.5-3.75=33.75

therefore, the selling price is $33.75
