and replace the values from the statements


\begin{gathered} (27)=(3y-30)+(6y-15) \\ 27=3y-30+6y-15 \\ 27+15+30=3y+6y \\ 72=9y \\ y=(72)/(9) \\ \\ y=8 \end{gathered}

the value of y is 8
