We will find the surface area of the square pyramid as follows:

*First: We determine the area of all the four faces of the pyramid:

A_f=(1)/(2)(6)(5)\Rightarrow A_f=15

So, the area of all four faces of the pyramid is:

A_(4f)=4\cdot15\Rightarrow A_(4f)=60

*Second: We determine the area of the base of the pyramid:

A_b=6^2\Rightarrow A_b=36

*Third: We determine the surface area:

S_A=A_(4f)+A_b\Rightarrow S_A=60+36\Rightarrow S_A=96

So, the surface area of the square pyramid is 96 square meters.
