Set A is formed by all the letters in the alphabet:

A=\mleft\lbrace a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i,j,k,l,m,n,o,p,q,r,s,t,u,v,w,x,y,z\mright\rbrace

n(A) is the notation that indicates the number of elements that conform the set A.

If set A contains all the letters of the alphabet, and there are 26 letters in the alphabet, then there are 26 elements in set A.

So n(A)=26
